Our Cardiac Rehab Department provides valuable services and programs to anyone with a history of cardiac problems or those at high risk for cardiac disease. Our patients build and improve strength and endurance through customized recovery programs, education, heart monitoring and the use of our specialized exercise equipment.

Occupational Therapy (OT) is a health profession that provides services to people whose lives have been disrupted by injury, illness, the aging process or developmental problems. Using specialized equipment and techniques, our OT professionals help patients improve strength, dexterity and movement.

Our Physical Therapy (PT) team provides rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and disabilities. We have specialists trained in osteopathic manual therapy techniques. Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation program helps people with moderate to severe breathing problems overcome the physical limitations resulting from their disease. Candidates for the program include patients recovering from an acute episode, people with lung disorders who need conditioning in preparation for surgery, and anyone whose activities are limited by chronic lung disease and shortness of breath. Individuals with chronic lung disease who feels he or she could benefit from the program may call to request an evaluation and are then referred by their physician.

Speech-Language Pathology encompasses communication and swallowing disorders for youth through geriatric patients. Our staff can evaluate and treat in- and outpatients who have experienced tracheostomy, stroke, head injury, vocal abuse or musculoskeletal problems.
