Fairview Range Medical Center has a very active and productive volunteer program and Auxiliary. Over 250 volunteers contribute in excess of 15,000 volunteer hours annually to the medical center, with each volunteer working an average of three to four hours every other week. Areas for volunteer service include various information desks, the Gift Nook, menus, and guest service desk in Patient & Family Waiting Area.
We will serve the medical center by:
■ Providing the highest quality volunteer service and support while respecting the dignity, individuality, and needs of our patients, volunteers, and the community we serve
■ Providing well-trained, compassionate, and resourceful volunteers to compliment and supplement the goals and objectives of other department and programs
■ Promoting community wellness and preventive medicine
■ Serving as public relations advocates for the medical center services and programs
■ Conducting fund raising activities to purchase goods and services for the medical center

■ 1st Floor Information Desk & Packets: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
■ Menus: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
■ Patient & Family Waiting Area: 6:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
■ 2nd Floor Information Desk: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
■ Fairview Mesaba Clinics 2nd Floor Information Desk: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
■ Gift Nook: 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.; 12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
■ Hidden Treasures: Special Hospital Auxiliary Projects (as needed)
