Fairview Range Breast Center

Fairview Opens Region’s Premier Breast Center

Fairview Range Breast Center now offers “results before you leave” mammograms in Hibbing and Mountain Iron. With “results before you leave” mammography, patients experience less anxiety due to not having to wait for their results and may also have any required additional imaging performed while they are here.

The Fairview Range Breast Center was completed and officially opened in October 2010, in conjunction with National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The Center is designed to provide the most comfortable atmosphere with the most advanced mammography and breast biopsy technology available for diagnosing and treating breast cancer patients.

Fairview Range Breast Center is staffed by a Registered Nurse/Nurse Navigator, Mammographers and Ultrasound Technologists.

Fairview Range Breast Center provides personalized patient care utilizing a Nurse Navigator who compassionately coordinates each patient’s journey through the breast cancer treatment process.

Unlike any other breast care facility in the region, Fairview Range Breast Center, located at the University Medical Center–Mesabi, provides patients with unsurpassed breast care.
