 Fairview Range is proud to announce the addition of full-time comprehensive Medical Oncology services at Fairview Mesaba Clinic in Hibbing.  Dr. Anastas "Stasse" Provatas, Medical Oncologist with the University of Minnesota Physicians will be providing medical oncology services at Fairview Mesaba Clinic in Hibbing five days a week.  Dr. Provatas will be working closely with primary care physicians in the region to provide comprehensive cancer services for patients close to home. 

Meeting the needs of people with cancer and their families in their home communities with dignity through quality oncology services. Oncology services include: outpatient chemotherapy, radiation therapy, full-time medical oncology care, surgery, social services, hospice and homecare. Community support services include a monthly cancer support group and the American Cancer Society Navigator Program and Look Good Feel Better.

The American Cancer Society (ACS) partners with hospitals, clinics and associations to assist cancer patients during their journey.  If you would like to partake in the free patient services and programs for both the patient and care giver offered by the ACS, fill out the Service Referral Form and return it to your provider.  The referral allows your provider to connect you to the ACS.  You will receive a phone call from the Society in a few days and following your conversation, a packet of information tailored to your needs will be mailed to you.  The ACS wants to assist you throughout your cancer journey.
