Volunteers are strongly encouraged to become members of the Auxiliary, but membership is not required to be a volunteer. Auxilians, on the other hand, do not have to be actively involved in patient service, but are strongly encouraged to support the Auxiliary and medical center in other ways, through its fund-raisers and social activities.
