Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)

Otolaryngologists, more commonly referred to as ENT physicians, are trained in both the medical and surgical treatment of patients with diseases and disorders of the ears, nose, and throat (ENT), and head and neck.  We also work closely with the Fairview Hearing Center.


Otolaryngologists (ENT physicians) diagnose and treat patients with:

■ Ear noise (tinnitus) 

■ Nerve pain 

■ Facial and cranial nerve disorders 

■ Nasal cavity and sinus disorders 

■ Allergies 

■ Sense of smell 

■ Appearance of the nose 

■ Breathing disorders 

■ Diseases of the larynx (voice box) 

■ Upper aero-digestive tract or esophagus 

■ Voice and swalling disorders 

■ Infectious diseases of the throat and neck 

■ Benign and malignant (cancerous) tumors 

■ Facial trauma 

■ Deformities of the face

■ Tonsillectomy/Adenoidectomy 

■ Ear (tubes, tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy)

■ Neck (neck cysts, lymph nodes, masses) 

■ Laryngology (vocal cord) 

■ Sleep apnea (uvulopalatopharyngoplasty) 

■ Oral cavity (frenulectomy, oral lesions, lip cancers/lesions)
